Laleetan in my home...contd part 2 The expression on Poojari's face was tremendous. As usual, Lalettan has his routine smile and gone. He had talked to me quite friendly and even after a year or so when he saw me for yet another religious function at uncles' house he remembered me and called me by name and i was so surprised. To be short, from that day onwards, I became a real fan of him!
If there is any reader from North Paravoor, they might be recollecting these incidents when he came for our 'KUMARANCHIRA PARA" and some good fellows had put my house name as "Lal Sadanam"!
We had talked many a times after that, The last time i talked to him was when he, Mammootty came to Doha (at that time I was in Doha) for a stage programme. I had become a fat man and he could not realise me. When I introduced myself he was amused and told "Dey. how much you have changed." I could meet him in some stage shows after that but could not have a chance to talk to him personally. I am still waiting for that golden day!
