Laaletan the Photographer This film will mark the entry of hit scriptwriter Ranjan Pramod into direction. The film will be based on the life of a photographer, 'Sijo John' who is entrusted with a special photography assignment among Aadivasi settlements.
This film is told in the background of recent Aadivasi strikes in Wayanaad asking for land, to make a living. The film will be cinematographed by Azhagappan, who is well known for his beautiful frames with nature. The music of the film is scored by Kaithapram and Johnson the superhit duo, who are working together after a short break.
Ranjan Pramod who had associated with Mohanlal as the scriptwriter of 'Naran', has also been able to create a number of megahits like 'Meesa Maadhavan' and 'Achuvinte Amma' in the past. As many of the script writers like Renjith and Renji Panikkar had found considerable success with directorship, Ranjan's foray into direction is also looked upon with interest.
