lalettan in the film CHEPPU hi all lal fans ,today i so on TV the 1987 priyan-lal movie cheppu,which was based on campus politics & violence .According to me lals portrayel of the "fighting for good" college lecturer was excellent.In my opinion it was a larger than life character of lal which had the speciality of standing very close to reality,it felt more real than a make believe character like that of narasimham etc.Anyway congrats to lalettan &priyan for giving a good movie.I want to know how the film did in the box office.All fans there,please send your comments regarding this topic.

Cheppu - A Super Hit The film was definitely hit. You have to remember that during those days not television channels were there. at that time, we used to see the sound track advt in Radios. The one dialogue "Ivanmaarkkethire our case enikku charge cheyyanundu, saakshiyumaayi njaan stationil varaam" was really attractive at those days. Moreover, Priyadarshan used less comedy in this film

hiiii i also had wathched chepu.its great movie lal hav many great movies like this.i will tell sum movies.ninishtam enishtam,srvakalashala,yuvajanaolthsavam,uyaranjalil........

that was a hit one yes, in 80s our lalettan gave so many hits to malayalam film industry... and cheppu is really a hit one.... in that movie, each and every scene makes us to thinking... really a campus movie..... with violence
yes good movie every one says yes the movie is great one. and my friend told me that its second part is planning. not sure but he said he had read that news.

But Vijesh CHEPPU - IInd part is good idea. But How Lalettan can act in it as his charecter is dying at the end of the movie. By the by, who acted in the film as his aruma sishyan

dont worry Sanju, dont worry about that... if Sandya Mohan will direct the movie he will find a good topic for IInd part of Cheppu (which has no relation with cheppu) and he will select a hero as lalettan's sishyan.... so dont bothered about that
