Its time to bring scripts for Mohanlal, the kind of alpacino and robert de nero, sean conory stuffs I feel mohanlal has a lot of potential than what he is doing right nw and has to do some, sci-fi or thrillers like what Kamal Hasan is doing. I can understand the budget problems, I think it can be done quiet efficiently, alteast I hope so.

ACCEPTED AS A SINCERE LAL FAN'S OPINION BUT....ETHAN... Yes i accept your sincere attempt, and lal will flair up like lightening if the alpacino ,de-nero path will be opted. No kamal hassan also will be on any cine audience minds if he just start this path. But our cinema market and the malayalam artists acceptance in all other languages are the two big hindrances. It was better he would had born in north or in any other country his reach would had been far far better and highly honoured, but then we would had lose a super actor who showed us even the very inner core of natural minute acting with a very versatile and dynamic acting range. So lets wish him the best, for the big hollywood banners to approach him like Nairsan if happens.
with lot of fun and love only,
vishnu

Yes, Really agree with you He must now try to move to the next level as you mentioned and be more selective in roles...
