The unit of Rasathantram -producer Antony Perumbavoor, director Sathyan Anthikkad and Mohanlal celebrated the 150 day function of the film in style at Kozhikode.
The celebrations were held at the Kadava Resort auditorium near Kozhikode by-pass road. Music wizard Ilayaraja was the chief guest and the surprise packet of the evening was Suchitra Mohanlal who normally never take part in any filmi function. She had actually come to the sets of Mohanlal’s Photographer and later made it for the function (see pic).
Sathyan Anthikkad got emotional in his speech. He said: “After 12 years I did a film with Mohanlal. We had no difference of opinion or any such ego problems and it just happened like thatâ€Â. Mohanlal said: “This is not a time for postmortem or why we did not work for 12 years. We are buddies for lifeâ€Â.
Later shields were distributed to the technicians, theatres owners and fans association. Meera Jasmine the heroine of the film was the notable absentee.
