For the first time in his career Mohanlal will play a fisherman in debutant writer-director Dr Janardhanan?s Maha Samudram! This film will be produced by Suresh Kumar of ?Revathy Kalamandir?. The pooja was held last week at Mohanlal?s Vismaya Studio in Tiruvananthapuram. Mohanlal will start work after he completes work on Naran. Laya will be his heroine.
The cast will also have Murali, Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Salim Kumar and Mamookoya. The music will be by M.Jayachandran. In the film Lal will play a fisherman who is crazy about football! Maha Samudram will be Mohanlal?s Christmas release.
