Mohanlal would host a three hour programme entitled 'Nandipoorvam Mohanlal', which would mark the inaugural function of the Onam Festival 2009, organised by the Department of Tourism.
The programme dedicated to the actor himself would chronicle his career spanning almost three decades through music and dance. Almost thirty five songs will be presented by renowned singers as Vijay Yesudas, Madhu Balakrishnan, Sujatha, Manjari and Shwetha. Mohanlal himself would sing a few songs as well.
Vineeth, Shobhana and Lakshmi Gopalaswami would accompany the actor with their dance performances.
Chief minister V. S. Achuthanandan and the Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Shashi Tharoor would be the distinguished guests present on the occasion.
The programme has been conceived and directed by director Rajeev Kumar.
