Shaji N Karun planning movie with Lal. Movie  which is expected to start next year is based on the much acclaimed short story “ Kadal” by T Padmanabhan. Another highlight of the movie is that the world renowned cinematographer Reneto Berto will be a part of this venture. Vaanaprastham was the last movie where the three maestros were seen together. The movie has made it to many festival circles and had won appreciation.

The shooting of the movie Gaatha will take place in Ladakh.
