Mohanlal turns 52! Happy Birthday
Mohanlal, the man synonymous with Malayalam cinema, celebrated his birthday on Monday. The legendary actor and producer turned 52.Born in 1960, Mohanlal started his cinema career with Thironattam in 1978. Since then, he has acted in more than 300 Malayalam films, apart from a couple of Tamil and Hindi flicks. Moreover, the superstar has lent his voice to approximately 25 songs in various movies.
Mohanlal shot to fame in 1986 after the success of Rajavinte Makan, in which he played an underworld don. He produced his first film in 1990 -- the musical hit, His Highness Abdullah. His most notable role in a Bollywood movie was a cop in Ram Gopal Verma's hit Company.
Despite being on the wrong side of 50, Mohanlal has no plans of slowing down. The superstar is reportedly expected to feature in five releases this year.
