Kandahar released worldwide in 125 screens on Dec 16, the biggest ever for a Malayalam film.

As per trade sources, Kandahar will take an earth shaking opening all over Kerala and beat all existing box-office records.

After 11 years, Mohanlal is reviving his home banner 'Pranavam Arts' banner through Kandahar,which maintained the class and success through movies like Bharatham, Kamaladhalam like Kalapani and Vanaprastham.
