Amitabh Bachchan, might star opposite Mohanlal in Major Ravi’s next Malayalam film `Hijack’.
This was revealed by none other than Mohanlal at a Meet-the-Press programme here on Wednesday. Mohanlal said that he would definitely send a formal invite to Amitabh Bachchan.
He was responding to a query whether there was any move to invite Amitabh Bachchan to act along with him in a Malayalam film. Amitabh Bachchan had said in an interview recently that Mohanlal was the most natural actor in the country and he had been fortunate to co-star with him in a Hindi film. He also expressed the hope that Mohanlal would fetch him a role in a Malayalam film along with him as he (Bachchan) held Malayalam cinema in high esteem. Mohanlal said the Major Ravi film `Hijack’, like all other Major Ravi films with military as the backdrop, had a suitable role for the legendary actor. Lal expressed the hope that Amitabh would have no difficulty in accepting the invitation.
