Lal not Lalettan I have a request to all Mohanlal fans. Please stop calling him Lalettan. He should be called "Lal". I know that it's being done out of respect, but it has aged him faster than he should have. He has started to act like an "Ettan". I know that a fan is expected to worship his idol and always say good things about him. But, can you honestly say that Mohanlal now is just as good as he was back in the '80's and '90's. I'm not talking about his looks. He talks slower. He looks so bored. I can't bear to watch his new movies. I just want to cry. What has happened to him? It's not physical aging. It's mental. All this hero worship has killed his potential. He could've become a great actor. It's just so sad.

If he very much bothered abt our lalettan's look & strength, he can simply skip lalettan's movies. why should he make such third class comments here. I believe, he is one of the frustrated mammukka fan.

Mr Karthyani I dont know whether ur a lal fan or not(It doestnt seem so). How the hell can u suspect the acting credentials of Mohanlal even when Mr amithab Bachan has said that he is one of the best we have. I dont think u have seen Thanmatra,Kirtichakra or for that matter any other of his recent movies . First go watch these movies and u will find that u have said something Foolish.

blame the fans Ningal ellaavarum koodiyaanu aa paavathiney nashippichadu. Just look at the list of Mohanlal's best scenes listed on the homepage of this site. All from the '80s and '90s. In our heart of hearts we all know that he is not what he used to be. FYI, I have seen Keerti Chakra, Thanmatra, etc. That's when I felt like crying. Just pop an old Mohanlal DVD in your player first. Watch that. Then watch Naran or some crap like that. You'll see the difference. In Keerti Chakra, he couldn't even cry for his dead wife and child OR for his dead buddy. Amitabh Bachan is just saying what he's expected to say. There's no doubt that Mohanlal is still good, but he's only a shadow of what he used to be. The fact that a movie becomes a superhit is not proof of its quality.
Lal, if you're reading this, please don't listen to these stupid fans. They will kill any artistic instinct you have left in you.

What is this..? Who is this 'CHETTAN'..? This site is a sacred temple for Lalettan... Those who do not love LALETTAN need not post their ugly comments here... You can comment abt the success or failure of a film, but we can't forgive degrading our LALETTAN & HIS ACTING SKILLS... Are all the Keralites FOOLS..?Out of the 6 LAL films released in 2006, Five of them are SUPER hits.. If LAL fans are destroying Lalettan we could have made PHOTOGRAPHER a hit ..Not the LAL fans all malayalees love Lalettan..He is like a family nember to every malayalee... Lalettan.. If u love Lalettan, u continue seeing 80'-90' movies....Just that is enough for u..KEERTICHAKRA is the greatest military story ever told..RASATANTRAM is the greatest family hit ever... Didn't u see Thanmathra,Vadakkumnathan..? Only thing we LAL FANS do is to create a BIG OPENING for LAL movies.... It alone canot make a film hit...If you are so much concerned about Lalettan u go to the houses of writers and directors to make extra ordinary films..We are happy about that...
