Another Disaster for Mammootty! VV seems to be another disaster for Mammootty...read the review in www.rediff.com and AOPM review is not yet out...Lal fans are happy but the actual review would tell the long run

Disaster Year.. I really dont understand why Lalettan in letting us down by doing meaningless movies..except for Pranayam all other movies have been terrible.I hope he brings loads of glory in 2012..Starting with Casanova and hopefully end the year with Randamoozham!!

Not a disaster for Lalettan The reviews are telling the film is not great....But everyone admits one thing...the film is an entertainer....copy cat or copy dog...i don't mind...if people are coming to watch a movie for just fun, and if they are getting it, the film is called a Super Hit....AOPM is a Stylish hit in that sense and VV is a stylish disaster...agree?

To SJ75 It was not at all a disaster year for Lalettan. I would agree if you are telling this for Lalettan, the actor. Since Lalettan had no hit in 2010 except Shikkar, all of his films fared very well in 2011, though only Pranayam needs a mentioning. But Mammootty don't have any film on the "hit" list and all his movies (and to some extend his calibre as an actor) were disasters. So Lalettan is now in a safe position where he could cash in for some good roles, like Randaamoozham....Let's wait for 2012....

AOPM Ordinary person believes that AOPM is the second part of Chandralekha....due to the attire and make up of Lalettan...Priyan should have taken much care not to have that impact....but any way, the movie seems to be an entertainer

To Sanjumenon I agree with you when you say its not a disaster year for Mohanlal, the actor. But as an actor we expected more from him. Well its better than last year. Lets hope for a better year next year and I truly feel he needs to be open to the new genre of directors who will give a fresh feel to his movies. AOPPMN is a total let down from a Priyan-Lal Combo. Priyadarshan has lost his marbles after he went to Bollywood. Randamoozham will be Lalettan's trump card next year and I hope we have more amazing movies from our STAR actor!!

SJ7 At least two or three good films should come from Lalettan...Good films in the sense likes of Pranayam.....But in 2011, he has to play safe as 2010 was a total disaster....

hi yes, i too think so..
last year movies esp china town, christian brothers etc were so borning.. we need some good movies like Chitram, his higness abdulla, nadaodikattu..Don't know wheter those golden days will come back ever..
Another thing Lalettan must limit advertisements, now a days he is appearing for lot of brands.. even on radio his voice is there saying "malbar gold.. swarnam vangoo", i feel it is so cheap for an Actor like him.. definetly this affect his image.
i can't agree AOPMN is a complete entertainer.The film is packed with lot of fun & suspences.i think except chinatown all other movies are superb.lalettan's next year confirmed projects are casanovva,tezz,grandmaster,vaisakh movie etc.
Randamoozham will not release in next year.It is a dream project and it need atleast 1 year to complete the work.
