At last Mohanlal’s long delayed musical odyssey Vadakkumnathan released. The film is directed by Shajun Kariyal and has Mohanlal and Padmapriya in the lead.
The film is said to be a mystical love story with great melodies tuned by late Raveendran. Mohanlal plays a Sanskrit professor who goes on a journey of ‘self-discovery’ to Haridwar.
The buzz in tinsel town is that Vadakkumnathan is loosely based on Ron Howard directed A Beautiful Mind about a Nobel Prize winning scientist John Nash which Russel Crowe had portrayed brilliantly.
Meanwhile the news is that Mohanlal’s performance in Vadakkumnathan is sure to be appreciated by the connoisseurs of good cinema and lady audience.
