Mohanlal turns cameraman for Joshiy's next

With Mammootty set to become a journalist for Deepan's 'Newsmaker,' it's now Mohanlal's turn to enter the exciting field of media as a cameraman for a news channel.

The megastar will be seen wielding the camera in director Joshiy's yet-to-be-titled film, which is being scripted by Sachi of the Sachi-Sethu duo.

The scribe says the movie is a romantic comedy with enough suspense in it. "Mohanlal plays a cameraman in a channel where his ex-flame is the senior editor. They have their differences but while covering a controversial issue together the spark is reignited," Sachi explains.

Earlier this year, Joshiy and Mohanlal had teamed up for the multi-starrer superhit 'Christian Brothers' and the director's latest venture with the young Mollywood actors, 'Sevenes,' is also a box-office hit.

Mohanlal's next release would be Sathyan Anthikad's family entertainer Snehaveedu with Padmapriya, Sheela and Biju Menon.

The movie revolves around an NRI, Ajayan, who returns to his village to settle down with his mother (Sheela) and starts a company selling agricultural equipments.

The megastar also has another movie with Shajoon Kariyal (Vadakkumnathan) lined up that will also be scripted by Sachi. The love story will see Mohanlal playing the role of a lighthouse operator in an island.

The movie will have a yet-to-be-cast Bollywood actress, who will play the role of a Pakistani girl whose family migrated to the country from Kerala in the 60s.
